What Is Day Forex?
What is Day Forex? Day Forex refers to the skilled art of trading currencies on the Forex market as a day trader. This means Forex currency trading not as a hobby, but essentially as full time job and source of income. Millions of people are doing it the world over. In just the last couple of decades the Forex market makeup has undergone a huge transformation from a market comprised of big player banks, brokerage firms and multinational corporations to one comprised of day Forex traders investing for themselves. With over 80-90% of currency trades now deemed to be speculative, meaning traded for profit, the entire Forex currency trading world has become user friendly.
Day Forex: Forex Trading From Home
The vast majority of the investments in foreign and domestic currency are no longer made by the big players but rather by day Forex traders using high-tech software and home PC’s. The Forex market is the largest market by dollar volume in the world. It also is the only major market that trades 24 hours a day each business week. With so much opportunity for investment, it’s no wonder average investors are making a living of Forex currency trading. With even basic knowledge and a decent Forex software application to assist, most people can convert themselves into a day Forex trader. Being a day Forex trader simply means one will invest daily in the currency markets and typically close out any and all open positions before the markets close at the end of the week. Unlike the NYSE and NASDAQ markets, there is no real “day” in the Forex market, more like a week. The same tactics exist however; lots of position trading, short selling, and rapid turnover currency trades. While certainly not a job for the novice, with a little research and learning most any investor can convert themselves into a full-time day Forex trader.
