In many cases, high stock has a high value but does not change drastically over the course of any given year. Of course, if you are buying high stock, you have to be sure you’re investing in a company that still has the potential to grow. In general, you want to follow any companies that you own stock in to see how they are doing financially. Once a company appears to peak, the high stock may not grow in value and it may be time to sell it for a profit.
