From there, you can add to your portfolio over the years to help it grow and diversify. When you get the opportunity to buy a new piece of good stock or take on a bond, you can do this and make your portfolio stronger.

In the future, you can also do things like purchase gold, silver or other precious metals to add to your portfolio. But at the beginning, just keep things simple and watch your portfolio to see how it grows each year. This will give you a better understanding of what you’ll need to do in the future to help your portfolio grow even more.
